INFORMATION FOR VISITORS

We want our visitors to feel welcome while also respecting the special character of Shabbat and our Messianic Jewish community life. Therefore, we ask all guests to observe a few guidelines during our Shabbat gatherings.

DRESS CODE & RESPECTFUL CONDUCT

Shabbat is a special and sacred day. In Jewish tradition, honoring Shabbat (Kavod Shabbat) includes dressing in a neat, appropriate, and respectful manner for this special day.

We also ask our visitors to attend the Shabbat service in neat and dignified clothing. This is not about requiring a particular style of dress, but about approaching the special character of Shabbat with respect and appreciation.

PUNCTUALITY & ARRIVAL

To help us begin Shabbat together in a peaceful and orderly manner, we ask all visitors to arrive in good time before the service begins.

Once the service has started, we seek to avoid unnecessary interruptions during prayer, the Torah reading, and the teaching. If you are unexpectedly delayed, please send us a brief message.

We regard punctuality not only as a practical matter, but also as an expression of respect for Shabbat and the gathered community.

PUNCTUALITY & ARRIVAL

During the Shabbat service, we ask that mobile phones be set to silent and, whenever possible, not be used, so that prayer, the Torah reading, and fellowship are not disturbed.

Out of respect for the privacy of our visitors and community members, photography, video recording, and audio recording are not permitted during our gatherings unless expressly agreed upon in advance.

It is important to us that everyone can experience Shabbat in a peaceful, safe, and respectful atmosphere.

REGISTRATION & SECURITY

Prior registration and confirmation are required to attend our Shabbat service. Unannounced visits are not possible.

This policy helps us maintain an orderly, personal, and secure environment for our gatherings and ensures the safety of our community and our guests.

You will receive the necessary information for your first visit as part of the registration process. We appreciate your understanding that the safety and privacy of our community are very important to us.

Once your attendance has been confirmed, you will receive all further information regarding your visit.

RESPECTFUL CONDUCT

Our community should be a place where people from different backgrounds can experience Shabbat together. We therefore ask everyone to treat one another with respect and consideration, even when there are different views on particular matters of faith.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES

Children and families are warmly welcome in our community. A dedicated children’s room with toys and play facilities is available, where children can spend time and play during the service.

In this way, we want to enable families to spend Shabbat with us while also maintaining a peaceful atmosphere during prayer, the Torah reading, and biblical teaching.

PUNCTUALITY & ARRIVAL

At our shared meals, we observe the biblical dietary laws. If you would like to bring something to share, please discuss it with us in advance.

“How good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!”
